Hello Friends!

I was reading a blog today. A total stranger's blog and I came across an idea that sounds like FUN! It is fun for the whole family or could be fun for just a ladies night or our husbands could come, or they could stay home. What I am getting at, is that we could have fun- no sitter, no money, required. Just ourselves and fun. Now some of you may think this is dorky. You may think "I am way to busy for that business.." and perhaps you are. But what I am proposing is for anyone interested. And I am proposing this because I think we all need more fun. I know I need more fun. I think I need LOTS AND LOTS of FUN. As much as I can get. So that is why I am proposing ...

SHOW & TELL CLUB

Thinking about it, it could be totally open, you (could) just bring something cool. Something you made or saw somewhere or a strange thing you found on the ground or a song you can sing. It could be a picture you took, a book you are reading, or a funny noise your kid makes that cracks you up.

And there would be food.

Could be fun.

So, there you have it.

I invision us all sitting in the living room, laughing and having fun. Now I am sending this email to A LOT of people. People who have never come to my house, who have possibly never done anything with me on a social level, people who have never did anything with some of the other people who I am sending it out to. But let's do it! Let's just open up our doors to possible new friends and new FUN- I always tell Samuel, "make as many friends as you can!"

The Show & Tell club is a small group of hoodlums who seem to enjoy telling each other stories and wowing one another with dance moves, book suggestions, weight lifting, and clean jokes. Please humor them by bringing along something to share. Perhaps you could sing a song, read a poem, bring something you handcrafted, or share your most prized possession (even if that item is only a pencil sharpener).

So this idea is funny to me, and again, SOUNDS LIKE FUN.
